Bring your household hazardous waste to the Service Center along with an ID and Hurst water bill.Accepted items:
-Automotive fluids (10 gallon limit)
-Batteries
-Cleaners & degreasers
-Cooking oil
-Lawn/garden/pool chemicals
-Light bulbs
-Paint *limited to three five-gallon containers
Not Accepted:
-Ammunition or explosives
-Appliances or electronics
-Building materials
-Bulk trash and yard waste
-Butane or propane cylinders
-Medicines or sharps
-Tires
Document shredding will be available. Three (3) box limit, no larger than 15" x 12" x 10" accepted. Limited space. First come, first served.
6 Stones will be on-site collecting clothing donations from Hurst residents.
Concern for proper disposal of Household Hazardous Waste and other potential surface water pollutants is a concern to all. Should you become aware of any improper disposal of any stormwater or surface water pollutant, call the City’s hotline at 817-788-7212.
