House of Worship Safety & Security Seminar
Hosted by: LifeBridge Christian Church & 4 Rings
Join faith leaders, volunteers, and security professionals for a one-day seminar designed to strengthen the safety and security of our communities. Together, we will address today’s growing threats and learn practical, hands-on skills to help protect our congregations.
Houses of worship are meant to be places of peace, hope, and refuge. Yet in recent years, there have been far too many incidents of violence in churches, synagogues, temples, and mosques across the United States.
This raises an important question: How do we keep our communities safe while continuing to welcome everyone with open doors?

Schedule
Morning Session (9:00 AM – 12:30 PM)
- Introduction (9:00 – 10:00 AM): Why safety matters, goals of the seminar, and options for internal vs. professional safety teams.
- Training Rotations (10:00 AM – 12:30 PM):
- Basic CQB (Close Quarters Basics)
- Basic Trauma Medical
- De-escalation & Communication
Lunch Break (12:30 – 1:30 PM)
Afternoon Session (1:30 – 4:00 PM)
- Training Rotations Continued (1:30 – 2:45 PM)
- Closing Session (2:45 – 4:00 PM): First Responder panel discussion, Q&A, and closing remarks.
