HNT's main goal is to prove to the youngsters that theatre is enjoyable, community and inclusive art form that could be done by anyone.
We offer theatre workshops for youngsters (13-18) for free.
We are aiming to work with students both without and with theatrical experience in English and in Finnish (depending on the facilitators and the group's needs).
On the workshops we try to introduce a huge variety of different theatrical genres, to show that theater could be a lot of things: different ways of thinking, different materials, different stories and they can also effect on it, the participants can make theater.
We experiment with different ways of opening up their stories, creating their own narratives and trying out different ways of telling these. Join us!
The workshops start in September (depending on the location; Kannelmäki starts on the 11th of September, Oulunkylä starts on the 16th of September, and Malmi on the 1st of October), we send you more information about them after registration.
New members are welcome to join until the end of October (or in special cases on request)!
Registration deadline: the 12th of October (Please note that it's the deadline for registration that is used for the Meetup event time, not the time of the actual workshops).
