House of Hamill came together thanks to a string of canceled flights. Rose Baldino and Brian Buchanan first teamed up in 2014 when Rose’s bandmates couldn’t make a showcase. The two clicked instantly, and years later, history repeated itself when bassist Caroline Browning stepped in last minute—completing the trio.
Now a festival favorite, House of Hamill blends stunning originals, traditional folk, and viral covers. Their song “Banks of the Brandywine” won the 2024 John Lennon Songwriting Contest, and their all-violin take on “Sweet Child O’ Mine” has 16 million views. Their latest album, Wildfire, showcases their most dynamic songwriting yet.
Opening the night is Thomas Hinds, a Georgia troubadour known for his soulful storytelling. With albums like Ghosts and Lamentations and Where Do We Go From Here, he’s built a strong following.
