Join Heather Downie, renowned harpist and singer, for a performance blending traditional Scottish music with contemporary flair. On her 10-week NZ & Australia tour, Heather will showcase songs from her debut album Nae Sweets for Shy Bairns along with classic Scottish tunes. Expect an engaging, intimate experience with opportunities for audience participation.Originally from Dunblane, Scotland, Heather has performed extensively worldwide, captivating audiences in the USA, Canada, Europe, and beyond. A regular performer at prestigious events, Heather has graced the stages of the World Harp Congress, Harp Con Online, and Celtic Connections. As Principal Harp Tutor at the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland, she is dedicated to shaping the next generation of harpists.
