After half a decade of creating together, the independent acoustic duo, known for experimenting in the rock/folk genres while performing on what are traditionally folk/classical instruments, plans a night of reminiscing on the music of their past and sharing what’s ahead.
About The Swallowtails: Est. in 2018, The Swallowtails are a Kansas City based musical duo composed of musicians on guitar/vocals and on bassoon/vocals. As recording and performance artists, they have been showcased throughout Kansas City, performing at the Folly Theatre, Boulevardia Music Festival, and on air in the 90.9 The Bridge NPR Studios. Their songwriting was awarded Best Song by a KC Band in 2023 by the Pitch Magazine for their tune “Take it Slow.”
