House Concert in East Austin

Nothing says Austin more than a concert at someones house with some local musicians sponsored by local businesses. We've got a gracious host, two talented artists, and some free beverages. It's shaping up to be good times. And most importantly, a great way to support local music!

Stop in for some drinks and local music and be sure to bring some cash to tip the artists. Please RSVP as well as space is limited. Showing a bit early would definitely help you lock down a seat for the show. Or you can bring your own chair if you like. We will be outdoors for this one.

You're welcome to BYOB and bring food if you'd like. There will be tables and chairs set up in the back yard (bring your own chair if you can). Austin Music Love is providing free Topo Chicos.

Jake Farr’s voice is soft and low and the poetry he sings is straight from the heart. As a classically trained guitarist, his folk songs are laced with haunting complexity. With the release of Novella in early 2022, Jake gained an international audience and a permanent residency in Austin’s finest listening room, The Cactus Cafe. In his work with the Cactus, Jake created and hosts the Songwriters’ Open Mic, seasonal songwriter showcases, and a featured annual concert. Jake is currently in the studio working on his 2nd full length album with Justin Douglas at King Electric Recording, mentoring musicians from across the country, and putting on collaborative dream-like art shows called ‘Jake Farr’s Parlor Show’.

Street parking is free and we simply ask that you do not block neighbors when you park. The driveway will be reserved for event staff and artists.

In case of bad weather, we will reschedule.

This is a family friendly event. All ages welcome.

Friendly dogs are welcome!

Bring some lawn chairs if you can. There will be chairs but probably not enough.
