Meet MATT SILLIMAN (Matt Silliman - dj) , a legendary figure in Atlanta’s house music landscape for over two decades. Known as Starboy during the 90s and early 2000s, Matt’s warm, high-energy house music sets earned him residencies at iconic ATL venues such as Eleven50, Karma, Trinity, Vision, The Mark, and Compound. His influence extended beyond Atlanta, gracing top clubs nationwide, including Mansion in Miami, Club 13 and Twilo in NYC, The End Up in San Francisco, and Red Rocks in Colorado.
After taking a hiatus in the mid to late 2000s to prioritize family and a flourishing advertising career, the pandemic reignited Matt’s passion for performing. Now, he’s back in action, regularly captivating audiences at Atlanta hotspots like District Nightclub, El Malo, Palo Santo, Midcity Atlanta, and more. Recent highlights include opening for Dombresky at District Nightclub, playing alongside Anabel Englund, and upcoming performances alongside Benny Benassi, Mark Farina, Louie Vega, and countless shows across the East Coast.
In 2022, Matt played a pivotal role in launching Captains of Revelry, an Atlanta event production company. Collaborating with house music legends such as Mark Farina, Doc Martin, Derek Carter, Miguel Migs, Louie Vega, and others, The Captains have thrown some of Atlanta’s most memorable events. Matt also helped bring The Captain’s flagship festival, Feelgood in the Park, to life. Additionally, he organizes and headlines a coveted event every spring called Beats on the Lake, a charity event featuring the Southeast’s most prominent DJs.
Versatile in his craft, Matt seamlessly navigates through deep to tech house, depending on the event, consistently delivering energetic and crowd-pleasing performances. Don’t miss the chance to experience the magic of Matt Silliman, a true maestro of Atlanta’s vibrant house music scene.
