During the tour, you can discover how houm is working to help address our city's, and nation's, housing crisis by rethinking the entire housing delivery process in order to create homes that are more affordable, sustainable, and effective.

Scott Shall and Breck Crandell, co-founders of houm, will present their cutting-edge approach and the designs that result during the tour. Through their presentation, you can witness, firsthand, their unique approach to housing design and construction - a methodology that systematically integrates generative design, high-fidelity simulation, digital fabrication, and industrial manufacturing in order to create well-crafted homes that are cost-effective, eco-friendly, and high-performance.

During the event, you will learn how houm's redesigned housing delivery process has resulted in structures that achieve a 33% reduction in cost and waste, a 50% reduction in time of construction, and a 66% reduction in the energy needed to heat the home, all while adding energy efficient fixtures, increasing durability and improving the quality of the final product.
