Hot Works presents the Estero Fine Art Shows, outdoors at JetBlue Park – a very popular venue and winter home of Boston Red Sox! October 23 & 24, 2021
January 29 & 30, 2022
The focus is visual arts and features up to 140 quality fine art and fine crafts created by award-winning artists with all discipline for sale – paintings, clay, glass, sculpture, fiber, wood, jewelry and more – all juried by art professionals. All artwork is original and personally handmade by the artist who is present at the show. There is something for everyone, in all price ranges.
COVID safety precautions in place such the art show is held outdoors, all booths spaced apart; social distancing with extra wide aisles for social distancing, face coverings recommended, etc.
The associated 501c3 non-profit arm, Institute for the Arts & Education, focuses on visual arts, cultural diversity, community enrichment and fostering art education among youth. As part of our commitment to bring art education into the community, we integrate Youth Art Competition or Budding Artist Competition within the art shows. This unique and one-of-a-kind program encourages students for ages 5-13/9-19 or grades K-8/96-21 to enter his/her original art that is publicly displayed in the art show the entire weekend. On Sunday at 3pm, there is $250 Youth Art Awards presented at the show as young artists are exposed to the rules and entrepreneurship of doing art shows for a living. Each youth art winner also receives the same, two-foot long colorful gorgeous ribbon that the professional artists receive.
JetBlue Park offers plenty of convenient parking and popular, easy to access location, at exit #131 off I-75, Daniels Parkway. Event hours are Saturday and Sunday, from 10-5 daily. Great food from local area restaurants and music add to the ambiance of this beautiful show. There is free admission; $5 parking supports IA&E. More info at www.artsandeducationinc.org.
