Do you like hotcakes? Do you like hymns? Do you like having fun and supporting a good cause at the same time? If you said “yes” to one or more of these questions, join us on Friday, May 10, for Hotcakes & Hymns, a pancake (and pork) dinner with an old-fashioned Hymn Sing, benefiting Seeds of Hope Publishers. The event will be from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. in Harper Hall at Seventh & James Baptist Church (602 James Avenue). Tickets are $17 for adults and $7 for kids 10 years old and under (but no more than $45 for one household) and will be available at the door. Come prepared to lobby (with money) for your favorite hymn!
During the program, there will be door prizes and an audible auction (featuring several very cool items). There will also be special appearances by the infamous gospel trio, Shirley, Guinness & Marcie and some of their nefarious singing friends.
