🥞🏃♀️ HotCake Hustle 2026 is almost here! 🏃♂️🥞We’re excited to share that we’ll be there, and we need 25 amazing volunteers in our name! The Run Project donates a big contribution to us each year, and they continue to be such an incredible, important partner to our rescue. We want to show up strong to support them—just like they always support us. 💛🐾
Yes, it’s an early start… but we finish early too, and it’s always a blast! If you’re already planning to attend or just want something fun to do, run, walk, or volunteer for us!
We need to make this a success!!
Also, the question has been asked - do I have to run as a volunteer? Nope, running is not required, unless you feel the need to run around the venue to stay warm. There are plenty of volunteer jobs available at the venue or on the course. They are listed on the volunteer sign-up sheet.

Start your 2026 racing season with a flapjack-filled finish at the Hotcake Hustle 10K, 5K, Fun Run, or Virtual Run! This family-friendly event winds through the scenic trails of Plano's Oak Point Nature Preserve and offers a distance for
everyone. After crossing the finish line, stick around for a stacked after-party featuring hotcakes, coffee, hot chocolate, food, ice-cold beer, and plenty of fun —all served with a side of community spirit!
