Turn up the heat and let your creativity shine in Hot Glass, Cool Class with Karen! In this one hour glass fusing workshop, you’ll design your very own fall scene suncatcher by arranging sparkling glass frit to create one or three trees, just the way you like them. No two pieces will be alike, and that’s the beauty of it!Your finished piece will be fired in our kiln and will include a fused wire for hanging (unless you’d like it otherwise). The cost of $50 covers all materials and firings.
This workshop is open to makers of all ages! Children under 12 must be accompanied by an adult, and partner seats are available for little artists working on a project with a parent.
Plan to return to STEAM in about a week to pick up your completed work, or choose to have it shipped for a small additional fee. Come play with fire (safely!) and leave with a glowing piece of art that’s uniquely yours.
