BluesShack was born during blues dance socials in Utrecht. The band has now been together for seven years, with many performances and three beautiful albums. In addition to songs from these three albums, BluesShack will also present plenty of new repertoire.BluesShack’s repertoire consists of both original songs and works by musical icons such as Etta James, Alberta Hunter, Muddy Waters, and Nina Simone. The performance on September 12 at jazz café Dizzy will mark the first show with BluesShack’s new permanent keyboard/Hammond player, Ton Beukelman.
