The Hot Chocolate Run for Safe Passage is a race that Mike and Lauren have done for many years. This year, they won't be up in Massachusetts at that time, so they're doing it virtually. We've created a team for any other Turtles and Hares who want to join! All virtual participants receive a really cute mug and a baggie of homemade hot chocolate.
They'll be hosting the Saturday morning run the weekend of the race (December 7th) with hot chocolate and a cookie swap. The run will be at Anderson Point Park and the breakfast/cocoa/cookie swap will be at their house around the corner.
If you're interested in the race and mug, be sure to join the Triangle Turtles and Hares team when you're registering: https://p2p.onecause.com/hcr2024/team/triangle-turtles-and-hares . The race is a fundraiser for Safe Passage, which is an organization that supports survivors of domestic violence. They always raise a ton of money for a great cause.
And even if you're not interested in the race..hope to see you for hot chocolate and cookies that day 😀
