Do you have a “hot honey?” Want a unique way to celebrate the upcoming Sweetest Day? Join us for this fun tasting experience. Each attendee will take home a bottle of their own hot honey! Perfect for friends, families, or couples. Bring your “hot honey” to explore the fascinating world of honey! At our honey tasting, you will learn about how bees make honey, and will taste a variety of honeys ranging from infused hot honey, to light, medium, and dark color profiles. Plus, you will sample a variety of textures, including creamed, crystalized, and honey direct from the comb.
You will use a honey flavor wheel and color chart to explore the wide variety of aromas, colors and flavors of honeys, as you try to put words to what you smell, see, and taste. Each attendee will track their impressions of each honey and we will compare and discuss these.
At the end of this workshop, attendees will receive a glass of honey mead to experience honey in another new way.
