Hospice Records and Jardin join their forces again to bring you the Tropical DJipsies!"Born in 2019, on March 8, the day of international celebration of women's rights, during a Giraffes & Penguins evening in Brussels, Tropical DJipsies is a female collective of DJs, first made up of DiDi then joined by RaqL. It is in December 2022 that the collective expands with 3afifa and Chel.
Passionate about music, dance, collective energy, solo or together, these 4 DJs are real energy bombs. Their motivation is to celebrate the power of women and make room for female artists on stage.
Currently, they are in residence at the Réservoir Bar and the Brasserie Illegaal and their evenings are absolutely not to be missed!!"

DiDi
Originally from Portugal, DiDi landed in Brussels in 2013 with her background full of experience in the party environment and quickly became very active in organizing Brussels parties. She is a solid member of the “Festa Afrotuga”, “Giraffes & Penguins” and of course “Illegaal DJipsies” parties. DiDi is the co-founder of Tropical Djipsies, a female DJ crew born on 8/3/2019 in the evening G&P. She has performed in several festivals such as Esperanzah, La Nature, Pukkelpop, Brosella, La Semo, Jam in Jette and in numerous events and radio shows, mainly in Belgium and Portugal. His musical selection is a journey around the globe, eclectic, surprising and filled with bass!
RaqL
RaqL is from Brussels of Cape Verdean, Portuguese and Angolan origin. She specializes in tropical and electronic music from Portuguese-speaking and African communities around the world. His sets are eclectic and energizing. She has performed in several events, notably for Kiosk Radio and Bruzz. RaqL became a member of the women's collective Tropical Djipsies in early 2022.
Chel
Born dancer and true hybrid being still unidentified, Chel is a womanager, model and performer, in love with LA Music. Under the leadership of many of her friends, the Tropical DJipsies collective and her godmother La Dame thanks to St Klet, since 2022, she has officially launched into the creation of DJ sets with multiple inspirations coming from all continents, with electronic sounds plurals and solar harmonies. She played in several key venues in the Brussels capital. You cannot stop a dancing people. So, do you dance?
