Location: Gypsy Hill Park, at the far end of the large parking lot for the football stadium & Moxie field, near the entrance to the Park Maintenance Shop.What Will Be Available: A mix of annuals & tropical plants from our summer displays including, Elephant Ears, Cannas, Dahlias, and other leftover plants.
How It Works: This year we will continue the “raffle” system of drawing for plants. Plants will be laid out by 4:15pm so you can preview what is available. Ticket distribution begins at 4:15pm, one per participant. At 5pm we draw tickets for plants which will be distributed in lots as winners are drawn. This spreads the plants to as many participants as possible. This event is open to all at no cost. Rain or Shine. Not everything in the city flower beds is available at the giveaway.
