Join us as we learn how trees heal, the history of some injuries, and tour of wounded Cylburn trees.About this Event
Join CAF garden educator, Rose, in her horticulture culture series (third Fridays). We will begin in the NEC classroom for a presentation about how trees heal and some of the injury history of Cylburn. Next we will take a walk to observe healed injuries (and not so healed injuries) on Cylburn trees. We will discuss what has happened to make them look the way they do. Be sure to dress warmly and have appropriate shoes for walking on the grounds. Terrain could be challenging for those with mobility disabilities. Runtime 1.5 hours. Pre-registration is required, no walk-ups please.
