Horst Schulz Memorial Event

We are pleased to announce the annual Horst Schulz Prize, awarded to a current or recent graduate who has published a first-authored peer-reviewed article in 2024. This prize honors the late Professor Emeritus Horst Schulz, who served as Executive Officer for the Biochemistry program from 1984 to 2002, recognizing exceptional contributions to the PhD Program in Biochemistry.

Join us for a special event to celebrate Horst’s legacy at 1:00 pm on Thursday, February 13, in the Elebash Recital Hall at CUNY Graduate Center. We will feature speeches and shared memories. The winner of the Horst Schulz Prize will present a 30-minute seminar showcasing their research. We look forward to seeing you there!
