Horsemanship clinic/ Mustang gentling clinic We are planning a horsemanship clinic in Hotchkiss Colorado at the Delta county fairgrounds in the covered arena November 22nd. We will be working on helping you improve your horsemanship whether that's fixing a problem, starting a colt, progressing from a bosal or snaffle to a bit, neck reining, or just having a better relationship with your horse. Anything you want to work on to improve yourself and your horse we can do. We will bring a garrocha for those ready to give that a try. We can work on trailer loading and ground manners, getting gates off your horse too. We will have a couple cows there and can do some low stress stock handling and getting your horse comfortable around cattle as well. It'll be a fun day with lots of stuff to work on.
November 23rd we will have a mustang clinic and everyone with a new mustang or one they are having problems getting gentled is welcome to come learn from us. Shane has many years experience gentling mustangs and tough horses. He was a TIP trainer in Delta Utah and has done mustang challenges as well as mustangs we have trained for our own personal use. Renae won the 2019 TIP challenge each division and grand championship mustang trainer. We can also give advice to anyone looking to adopt a mustang on how to get a better chance of finding a nice one.
We will provide lunch each day. The clinic will run from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm with an hour for lunch.
Vendors are welcome to set up at no charge for each day.
Auditors are welcome for $25/day.
The cost of each clinic will be $225 for the day. There will be a $100 deposit due at sign up. Sign up before November 11th and the price will be $200/day. So save a little and sign up early!!
