This 3.5mile walk, led by Dilys, visits interesting locations around Horsehay including Horsehay Common, Horsehay Pool and Telford Steam Railway. Meet up in the Horsehay Golf Centre car park (https://what3words.com/kickers.prefix.converged)We will then head over to Horsehay Common and then Horsehay Pool which leads towards the Steam Railway Station.
We pass through The Brandlee Woodlands before reaching the site of the once famous Horsehay Ironworks and then returning the other side of Horsehay Pool to the Golf Centre Car Park. There is a pleasant bar in the Clubhouse, open to all, serving drinks as well as coffee and hot food for anyone that wants it.
