Nestled in the foothills of South Mountain Park, Ponderosa Livery Stable offers over 50 miles of trails through 18,000 acres of pristine Sonoran Desert. There's more adventure here than you can imagine, exploring the vast majestic beauty under the watchful eye of guides and riding first rate horses. The stable has trail horses for every level of rider, from the first timer to the seasoned equestrian.
Afterwards, we’ll mosey on over to The Farm at South Mountain and enjoy a picnic style lunch among the pecan groves. The Farm Kitchen features a walk-up counter where guests can choose from an assortment of delicious sandwiches, fresh soups, seasonal salads, and made-from-scratch baked goods.

HORSEBACK RIDING REGISTRATION:
• Must be registered NO LATER than February 26th
• Email Tracey Clark at [email protected] and she will provide registration instructions
• Children 6 and up ride their own horse
• Cost is $40 (please bring gratuity for the guides)
• 300 LB WEIGHT LIMIT – NO EXCEPTIONS
Lunch:
• Seating will either be at picnic tables – OR – bring your own camping chair / blanket to sit on the lawn
