In the first instant this event for Liveries it may open to outside clients nearer the time.
Allison Winterbottom is a Chartered Physiotherapist who has over 20 years experience. Nearly 10 years ago Allison specialised in working alongside horse riders, looking at their symmetry and biomechanics.
Each 45-60 minutes session will include a mounted assessment to look at the rider's balance, symmetry and biomechanics.
Techniques and suggestions will then be made to improve this, it may include work with resistance bands, muscle energy techniques, and exercises to take home to improve on the issues that have been identifed during the session. Throughout your session Allison will explain the process and enable you to improve your feel and recreate this going forward.
Common issues these sessions can help with are
- One rein feeling more difficult to balance than the other
- Uneveness in the feel of stirrup length
- Uneveness in turns or lateral work
- Rounded shoulders
- Pointing out toes
- Difficulty in getting weight down your heels
and many more. Please read our reviews of how Allison has helped Clients. £60 a session,
