Horse & Pony SaleOur annual horse and pony sale returns for 2025 on Sunday 12th October in Ballybrack Equestrian Centre, Glenville, Co. Cork.

We are delighted to have The Department of Agriculture Food and the Marine, in conjunction with Horse Sport Ireland, on board as sponsors of our foal show prize money, which will be run alongside our annual horse and pony sale, with a fantastic prize fund of €1900.
Foals presented for showing classes must go through the sales ring.
Classes are as follows:
1. Purebred Irish Draught Foal, Colt or Filly, with recorded breeding.
1st €300; 2nd; €150; 3rd €100; 4th €50
5th-6th Bag of Feed
Breeders Prize €50
2. Sport Horse Foal, colt or filly foal. This competition is open to animals registered in any World Breeding Federation for Sport Horses (WBFSH) studbook or a Department of Agriculture Food and The Marine (DAFM) approved studbook with recorded breeding and breed recorded on passport.

3. Registered Pony Foal, colt or filly, including Connemara, with recorded breeding.

Foal Show begins at 11am sharp.
ALL FOALS MUST BE LED
Rosettes for all foals.
Animals with breed code UNK are not eligible to compete in these classes under the conditions of the Department of Agriculture.

Added incentive for buyers at this year’s sale on 12th October. The buyer of the top price foal on the day will receive a cash bonus of €200. All buyers will be entered into a free draw. Prizes to be announced on the day.
