Horse 101 is a 4-month series from June to September of educational clinics for new horse owners, people looking to purchase their first horse, or just the owner wanting to continue their education. The program will cover veterinarian care, farrier care, nutrition, tack fit, how to prepare for your first horse, basic horse handling skills and more. If you complete all 4 clinics you will receive a completion certificate, a horse owner "survival kit", and a voucher than can be applied to the adoption of one of our horses.
We have a limited number of FREE spots for 4-H and FFA students. Please e-mail [email protected] to get a coupon code to claim your free spot!
We will have door prizes and give aways at each clinic and LUNCH IS PROVIDED! There will also be handouts. Come ready to learn!
These clinics are pre-registration only. We will not be able to accommodate walk ups.
The best thing we can do for our horses is never stop learning!

July 6th: Hands On/Working on Safety while handling horses and more
August 3rd: Saddle and Bit fitting
September 7th: Veterinarian and Farrier
