The 8th Annual Horror Film Festival continues with our third selection Tim Burton's 1993 box office smash The Nightmare Before Christmas.SBVC Professor Daihim Fozouni and his panel of movie buffs facilitate this presentation.
Burton's 1993 whimsical holiday fantasy/musical The Nightmare Before Christmas, stars the voice talents of Danny Elfman/Chris Sarandon [Jack], Catherine O'Hara [Sally/Shock], Paul Reubens [Lock], and Ken Page [Oogie Boogie].
This family friendly and beautifully stop-motion animated story follows disaffected King of Halloween Town, Jack Skellington,
who has grown tired after years of planning his assigned holiday. Upon discovering Christmas Town, Jack attempts to take over the cheerful holiday to the confusion and misunderstanding of his holiday's townsfolks.
A film discussion will follow the presentation and light refreshments will be available for those in attendance.
Our festival begins at 5p.m. on Thursday, October 17th in the SBVC Library Viewing Room [LIB149]
