This years 8th Annual Horror Film Festival continues with our second selection Tim Burton's 1990 cult classic Edward Scissorhands.Professor Daihim Fozouni and his panel of film afficionados play hosts for our second film presentation.
Burton's 1990 dark fantasy/drama, Edward Scissorhands, stars Johnny Depp [Pirates Of The Caribbean], Winona Ryder [Stranger Things], Dianne Wiest [The Birdcage], Anthony Michael Hall [The Breakfast Club] and legendary Hollywood horror actor Vincent Price - in one of his last film roles.
This haunting fairytale follows the solitary life of an artificial man - incompletely constructed leaving him with scissors for hands - must find a way to navigate a new and unfamiliar environment when he is "adopted" by a suburban family.
A film discussion will follow the presentation and light refreshments will be available for those in attendance.
Our festival begins at 5p.m. on Thursday, October 10th in the SBVC Library Viewing Room [LIB149]
This film is rated PG-13 and runs 1 hour and 45 minutes.
