?We will be kicking off the filming weekend at Quixote Studios where teams will receive their elements and will race against the clock to write, shoot and edit their film in 48 hours. Then, they will see their films premiere on the big screen at Regal LA Live!!?
If you’re curious about how this special genre differs from the regular 48 Hour Film Project, here’s the scoop. On Friday, Oct 25th at the kickoff event, teams will randomly receive a horror sub-genre (such as psychological horror, clown, or creepy kid) and a comedy sub-genre (like buddy comedy, romantic comedy, or mockumentary). They can choose to create a film based on just one of the genres or a combination of both. As always, teams will also be given a required prop, character, and line of dialogue to incorporate into their films.
Then, just like that... 48 hours later, you will have a finished film!?️
