Get ready to celebrate Independence Day in style as Hornell Partners for Growth (HPG) and the City of Hornell proudly present the 4th of July Celebration, returning to Veterans Memorial Park for a full day of fun, food, and fireworks!
Parade Details
The festivities will kick off with a patriotic parade at 12:00 PM. Participants will line up by 11:45 AM in the Community Bank parking lot at 1 Seneca Square. Show your community spirit by joining in or cheering on from the sidelines!
Festivities at Veterans Memorial Park
From 1:00 PM to dusk, Veterans Memorial Park will be buzzing with excitement. Enjoy craft and food vendors throughout the day, offering something for everyone. Vendors interested in participating are encouraged to email [email protected] for an application.
Family-friendly entertainment will include music, kids' activities, and access to the City pool (specific details and pool hours to be announced as the event draws closer).
Cruizen Time Car Show
Classic car enthusiasts won’t want to miss the Cruizen Time Car Show from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM, with awards announced at 3:00 PM. Show cars should enter via East Vanscoter Street, and participants are also invited to join the parade for an added touch of nostalgia.
Fireworks Extravaganza
As the sun sets, prepare for the largest fireworks display Hornell has ever seen, set to light up the night sky and cap off the day in spectacular fashion.
A Community Effort
To ensure the event remains a success, attendees are kindly asked to keep the park clean by using the provided trash cans. If you notice a full or fallen trash bag, please notify a staff member. A reminder that Veterans Memorial Park is a no-smoking (including cigarettes, vapes, and marijuana) and no open container area.
