Led by Ally this is a varied 14mile/22km walk from historic Horncastle taking in some of the Lincolnshire Wolds National Landscape. The date is 16th March and could take about 7 hours.
Ally is a Mountain Leader and Medical professional with a special interest in Mountain Medicine. She is an outdoor enthusiast with a developing passion for nature.
Horncastle is a Roman town and sits at the head of 2 rivers - the Bain and Waring. We can expect varied countryside and great views on the higher ground of the Wolds - both Lincoln Cathedral and Boston Stump being visible on a clear day. Thereโs likely to be some early spring flowers and interesting wildlife.
