About this Event
We host a stay-and-play session for parents and preschool children every Friday during term time. In the past, it has often been a drop-in style group that was often 'oversubscribed' so in an attempt to avoid disappointed parents, and wasted journeys we are taking bookings now so we can let people know ahead of time if we know it will be a full session.
Please note: if your baby is not yet walking, there is a specific space for you to meet parents with children at the same stage in our Baby Zone and please select these tickets to book a space in that zone. If you also have a toddler there is a space inside the main session for infants too so you can sit with your infant and supervise your toddler all in one room :)
Let our friendly volunteers welcome you and come and spend some time quality time with your children but also time chatting with other adults!
The Covid pandemic helped us see how lonely parenting small children can become for many people. So we now prioritise our session as a space and place for you to meet up with other parents and allow your children to see and interact with others. That way they can develop socially and you can know that you're not alone and doing a great job!
We will be charging £2 per adult and £1 for each child over the age of 6 months, infants come for free! You can pay at the door via cash or contactless card payment.
