About this Event
The Innovation Roadshow is part of a series of local events hosted by Horizons to support the city region’s SMEs, providing businesses with the expertise to accelerate their technological innovation and sustainable practices.
Delivered in partnership with the University of Liverpool’s VEC (Virtual Engineering Centre), Liverpool John Moores University and Edge Hill University, Horizons is the first innovation support programme funded by the Liverpool City Region’s £44m UK Shared Prosperity Fund (UKSPF).
It will support 100 SMEs and provide 30 grant opportunities, to help business embrace innovative technologies and support long-term success.
SMEs from across St Helens are encouraged to attend to learn how Horizons can support them to accelerate their growth journey.
Glass Futures
Glass Futures is a global not-for-profit membership organisation that connects the global glass industry and academia to demonstrate and deliver disruptive technologies that will make glass and other materials zero carbon and sustainable, In collaboration with the global glass industry, Glass Futures is delivering the world’s first openly accessible glass melting facility in St Helens with provision for R&D trials, bridging the Technology Readiness Level gap between research and commercial viability toward implementation.
