NELU LAZAR is an American-Romanian singer-songwriter, producer, co-founder of acoustic & rock bands, and prosodic book writer. Nelu’s vocal interpretation is mesmerizing, and his audience is always enthralled when he plays acoustic guitar – and some cobza – versions of traditional fiddling, world romani, alternative folk, folk-rock, grunge, punk, and rock genres, including his original songs from his albums and folk and rock operas he released so far – and some surprises for each unique audience and each distinctive show. TAINE FOLK music group was formed in Brasov, Romania, in 1998. The folk group’s members – Gena Lazar, Romell Alaman and Nelu Lazar – write original songs, with lyrics that whisper about life, nature, love, existence, non-existence, and many feelings and emotions that humans experience. Taine Folk performed live in Romania between 1999-2003, and have been invited to radio shows in Romania and diaspora. After almost 20 years of inactivity, Taine Folk members reunited in 2020, released 5 songs that they recorded twenty years ago on the album TAINA, and promised to friends and fans that, from now on, Taine Folk will last forever. www.TaineFolk.com
