About this Event
Join Keep Pinellas Beautiful, Blue-Green Connections, and City of Dunedin at the Dunedin History Museum on Saturday, Feb. 8th for a cleanup in Downtown Dunedin. Volunteers will help clean the Pinellas Trail and surrounding areas. Protect our Hope Spot by helping to keep plastics and other trash from becoming marine debris!
After the cleanup, volunteers are encouraged to attend the Florida Gulf Coast Hope Spot Festival taking place until 2:00 pm. For more information on the event, please click here.
Please note: Volunteers under the age of 18 need to be accompanied by an adult
WHEN:
- 8:45 am until 9:00 am - Check-in
- 9:00 am - 11:00 am - Cleanup
WHERE TO MEET: Downtown Dunedin next to the Dunedin History Museum. Check-in will be in front of the museum closer to Main Street. Look for the table and tent!
WHAT TO WEAR: Please wear closed toed shoes such as boots or sneakers and clothing you don't mind getting dirty. We recommend bringing a hat or sunglasses too.
WHAT TO EXPECT: All cleanup supplies are provided including safety vests, pickers, reusable gloves, trash bags, sunscreen, hand sanitizer, and bug spray. You are welcome to bring your own bucket if you have one! A water refill station will be available, please bring a reusable water bottle.
