Hope Held Hostage are back at the Old Bank Restaurant and Bar to bring you another night of great music. Joining them are two bands on their first Dubbo gig. James Van Hest, and Convict.
James van Hest is a 4-piece Australian Hard/Classic Rock N Roll band mixed with Metal from Sydney, Australia. The band formed in 2021 by James himself with a collection of already written ballbreaking songs. Their unique brand of entertainment fuses big crunchy guitars and punch-in-the-face drums with loud as fk energy that will make you want to rock hard!
Convict - Rock n Roll Four Piece band from Sydney’s inner west with Roaring vocals as loud as you can stand, bass that puts thunder in your guts, guitar that’s screams and are sure to drive you nuts, and drums that are a blitzkrieg of kicks and toms.
The Hope Held Hostage movement is boldly demanding attention. This dynamic rock band from Dubbo, NSW, skilfully fuses alternative and grunge influences to create a powerful and infectious sound. Formed in mid-2023, Hope Held Hostage is quickly gaining popularity, winning battles of the bands at the Criterion in Weston, securing a spot at the Under Western Skies Festival in September 2024, and making it to Heat One of the Good Thing Band Competition..
