This approximately 40-minute work is compiled of many familiar Christmas lyrics and melodies, partnered 50/50 with both original and beloved tunes. There are two songs where the congregation is invited to join in singing, "Silent Night, Child of Light" and "Worship Christ, the Newborn King," a medley of festive sing-along carols. In "Hope Has Dawned, Noel," we look back over the events leading up to the birth of Christ and journey through the hope experienced by Mary and Joseph, the Shepherds, Angels, Magi, and even Zachariah and Elizabeth in the birth of John the Baptist. These events would eventually lead us to the birth of Christ, the hope of all the world. Creative choral moments offer a variety of musical styles while the narration, with musical underscores, bridges each choral selection seamlessly. 🎶
