Green Trails United Methodist Church, located at 14237 Ladue Road in Chesterfield, will present “Hope Has Dawned, Noel”, a new Christmas cantata by composer Mary McDonald, at 2 p.m. on Sunday, December 14, 2025. All are welcome to attend.
At just 40 minutes long, this beautiful 2025 composition introduces stirring new melodies combined with fresh takes on beloved Christmas carols, and includes an audience sing-along at the end.
A 17-piece orchestra and a 21-voice choir will present this cantata under the direction of Andrew Pulliam, music director at Green Trails Church. In addition to Green Trails Church’s choir members, several members of Mr. Pulliam’s choir at Webster Groves High School and a few members of the St. Louis Symphony Chorus will join in singing. The orchestra is comprised of talented musicians from around the Greater St. Louis Metropolitan Area.
There is no cost to attend, but there will be a free-will offering collected at the end of the performance for those wishing to support the ministries of Green Trails Church.
