About this Event
The project, focused on Campo Bejuco, a small village in rural Honduras, aims to support the community's recovery after being struck by Hurricane Iota in 2020, a Category 4 hurricane. The village suffered extensive flooding and significant damage to many homes, including the main school building, disrupting the education of its residents. In response, teachers and school staff improvised by holding classes in their homes and local church, ensuring continuity in education despite the challenges. As of 2024, efforts are underway to restore the school building, enabling the community to return to formal classroom settings soon. The project's objective is to provide assistance by sending and procuring school supplies for the 130 young students in the area, aiding their transition back to learning in a new educational facility.
Tickets will cover donation, food, and open bar for the event! Music will be brought to you by DJ Marvz!
School supply donations will be accepted at the event as well, but this is completely optional!
