Gather your family and friends for a day of creativity, connection, and discovery at the Hope and Action Festival on Oct. 25th from 10 am - 3 pm!
This free community event at Fanshawe Conservation Area offers something for everyone:
- enjoy live music from Kevin's Bacon Train, Katherine Fischer, Shawn Durant, Fiker, Fraser Teeple, Dawn Redskye, and London South Collegiate Institute student performers
- discover interactive activities and games
- try your hand at art and crafts
- catch a spectacular live birds of prey show by the Canadian Raptor Conservancy
- bring native plants and seeds for Bird Friendly London’s Native Plant and Seed Exchange (registration and info at bit.ly/3KRhtLl)
Come hungry! The Grilled Cheesery, New Leaf, Leen's Shop, Donut Diva, and Rosie's Streetery will be ready to serve you.
Community members are also invited to join an Indigenous opening ceremony at 9 am led by Anishinaabe Elder Mary Lou Smoke. It will be a great opportunity to gather in reflection and gratitude.
