Join Culpeper Renaissance, Inc. for the annual Hop N Hog Culpeper Block Party & BBQ Competition! Taking place in the historic Depot District of Culpeper Downtown, on Saturday, October 19, from 12pm to 5pm; you’ll be sure to enjoy the best local and regional BBQ, Beer and Bourbon at every twist and turn! Taste a variety of BBQs, being sure to stick around and see who takes home the $1,000 Grand Prize, as determined by local celebrity judges! Enjoy additional food options, from Thai street food to loaded fries, kettle corn and ice cream! Hear local band Steel Peach, taking the stage 12pm to 2pm, playing country, rock and everything in between! 2:30pm, Chang Band, will finish the day out with all the best soul and Motown classics! In addition to the delectable food, delicious beverages and bumping music, look forward to the Kid Central Kid’s Corner, featuring Danny’s Bouncy House, caricature artist, Daniel Ryman, and Brennan’s Balloons(1-4pm)! Finally, enjoy an abundance of artisan vendors selling hand crafted jewelry, spice mixes, cigars, hot sauces and more!
Purchase the Unlimited Tasting Ticket if you plan to sample tastings of Beer, Bourbon, Cider, and Wine, plus receive a souvenir tasting glass! Early Bird Unlimited Tasting Tickets go on sale September 6 for just $35; but hurry, after September 13th the price goes up to $40, with a final price increase if purchased at the entry gate ($50)!
Purchase the General Admission Ticket for just $15 if wanting to experience the event, but don’t need unlimited tastings. Children 13 and under get in free!
