This event is always one of our favorites. It gives us the opportunity to visit with the wonderful citizens we serve. You get an up close and personal look at some of the tools that we use on a daily basis which help us keep you safe. You also get to check out:
• Displays by the Hoover Police Department, Hoover Fire Department, Hoover 911 Telecommunicators, as well as other agencies.
• See members of the SWAT team, K9 unit, bomb squad, the seized Porsche 911, the Dive boat, the HPD Harley Davidson motorcycles and much more!
• Car show
• Food trucks
• Kid’s area: Inflatables, airbrush tattoos, and more!
Hoover Public Safety Night Out is an annual community-building campaign that promotes police-community partnerships and neighborhood camaraderie.
