🎶 Morganton Play Music on the Porch Day 2025 – Hootenanny 🎶On Saturday, August 30, 2025, as part of Morganton’s Play Music on the Porch Day, I’ll be hosting Hootenanny—a relaxed, joyful celebration of live music, spoken word, and community storytelling right here in Morganton, NC.
This isn’t your average open mic. It’s a laid-back gathering where musicians, poets, and music lovers come together to share songs, stories, and good vibes. Whether you’re performing or just listening, everyone is welcome.
This year’s lineup features many returning favorites, with sound by Morganton’s own Jimmy Buchanan!
