HOOT! begins 2025 with a benefit for Earth Justice, the nation's leading environmental law organization. For more than 50 years, they've used their knowledge of the law to build better, more lasting environmental protections and defend those protections in court.
The Hoot! is a modern take on the traditional hootenanny, where local musicians and singers explore a wide variety of topics from the mundane to the outrageous. For over ten years The Hoot! has celebrated community, creativity, and the power of music to bring people together.
Tonight's program will feature a diverse lineup of performers, from soulful singers to energetic combos, singing songs on the theme of "Songs in Defense of the Environment."
Mark your calendars and get ready for an unforgettable night of local entertainment for a great cause.
Tickets are $25; and donations of $25+ are gratefully accepted. Children under 12 are free. Advance tickets are available here, or if the show is not sold out, you may purchase your tickets at the door before the show.
Doors open one half hour before show time. We accept cash or Venmo only at the door.
The Back Room is an all-ages, BYOB (for those 21+) space, dedicated to (mostly) acoustic music of all kinds. You are welcome to bring your own food and beverages. The venue is ADA accessible. If you need more information or have any questions, please call us: #510-381-1997.
