Join WIPER (Wayne County Invasive Plant Education & Removal) at Hayes Arboretum for an educational volunteer event on invasive plant species. Volunteers will help remove periwinkle & honeysuckle from the forest. This event is part of a statewide W**d Wranlge Day. Hoosiers will remove invasive plants from our green spaces throughout the state. We will be pulling periwinkle from the woods at Hayes Arboretum to keep it from spreading into the Old Growth Forest.Please dress appropriately for off-trail exploration and work. Long pants, closed-toed shoes, and gloves are recommended.
