Our community is having a benefit to help Coach Paul Holmes. He has been diagnosed with Stage 4 metastatic prostate cancer which has spread to his ribs and spinal cord. The battle will be a tough one but we feel he is up for the fight. We are asking God and believing for a miracle (James 1:6) This benefit is to raise money to help him financially during this time. He owns his own business, so while he’s taking his treatments he will be limited as to how much he can work. On March 29, Saturday,at high noon,there will be a basketball game at Step of Faith Academy. All proceeds will go to Coach Paul. If you were a previous player contact the school if you’re interested in being a part of it. Contact Donna Carter. After the game the benefit will shift to The Oaks where there will be food, music and a live auction. The food will be prepared by Chef Big E. There will be baked goods for sale as well. This community has always been there for people in need so let’s show up and bring your wallet
If you can’t make it you can donate using Venmo or simply dropping money by the school or Eats and Sweets or The outpost.
