Elks National Hoop ShootParents, Grandparents and Great Grandparents:
Please consider making plans for your child to participate in the annual Rock Hill Elks Lodge 1318 Hoop Shoot contest.
For those of you who are unfamiliar with the Hoop Shoot Contest, it is a free throw shooting contest sponsored by Elks Lodges around the country.
It is open to boys and girls between the ages of 8-13.
If the contestant will be age 7 on April 1, 2026, he/she is too young to participate.
If the contestant will be age 8 or 9 on April 1, 2026, he/she shoots in the 8 to 9 age-group.
If the contestant will be age 10 or 11 on April 1, 2026, he/she shoots in the 10 to 11 age-group.
If the contestant will be age 12 or 13 on April 1, 2026, he/she shoots in the 12 to 13 age- group.
If the contestant will be age 14 on April 1, 2026, he/she is too old to participate.
Winners from Rock Hill in each age group will then advance to the District competition at Gaffney High School in Gaffney, SC, on February 8th, 2026.
The program is free to all contestants. The Elks help sponsor winning contestants and their families at every level of competition.

Event Location: Boyd Hill Recreation Center

Event Time: 1:00-3:30pm
Please make sure your shooter brings gym shoes!
