We are really excited to welcome Carole Rennison from Hooked by design to our School.
Come and enjoy a relaxing day of yarn hooking with Carole.
Learn about yarn hooking, how it differs from traditional rag rug hooking and what gorgeous, finely detailed creations you can make. You will be working on fine weave hessian, with a small hooking tool and using gorgeous colours of carpet yarn to create your unique Christmas stocking using one of Carole’s “all you will need” kit.
Using a custom made hooking frame, which is yours to keep, you will start the day learning this simple hooking technique on a sample piece of hessian.
You will very quickly get into the swing of yarn hooking and it can be the most relaxing and therapeutic process.
What’s included:- A hooking frame, the hessian and you can choose from a number of stocking designs, all yarn and a hooking tool.
You will need to bring a packed lunch and festive refreshments will be served.
