Honouring Arts is a vibrant event featuring a local artisan and artist market that showcases the incredible talents of first responders, veterans, hospital practitioners, and others who serve our communities. Many of them use art or craftsmanship as a way to cope with mental health challenges or as a second career.From handcrafted goods and original artwork to unique creations, this market is a celebration of creativity and craftsmanship. It’s a wonderful opportunity to shop for locally made treasures while supporting those who serve.
The festival will also feature exhibitors from these same communities, along with artistic performances and experiences led by different artists.
To accommodate artists from farther away who wish to share their work, we will include an online gallery as part of the event.
Community groups that share our core values and are dedicated to supporting these individuals will also be present, offering their services to anyone in need.
But that’s just the beginning! The festival brings together live music, delicious BBQ prepared by the incredible pitmaster Danny Gernon from Danger’s Smokehouse, and the warmth of a crackling bonfire, creating an atmosphere of connection and joy.
Whether you’re here to shop, enjoy the music, savor great food, or simply relax by the fire, Honouring Arts is a celebration you won’t want to miss.
