Honoring the Mother Root: Crafting Prayer Flags for Female Ancestors

In this workshop, we’ll craft prayer flags to honor female ancestors—known or unknown—using recycled cloth, beads, repurposed jewelry, and personal symbolism. Through storytelling, reflection, and hands-on making, each participant will create a meaningful tribute to the women who came before. All materials provided, and you’re encouraged to bring personal items to weave into your flag. No art or sewing experience needed—just a willingness to remember and create.
